Wedding Photo of the Day: Kids will be Kids

I proud to be a member and have been since 2012. In fact, this photo was the first of my many awards with the ISPWP. In the fall of 2012 it gained 1st place! The category was ‘Kids will be Kids’ which I feel says it all 😉

It was shot way back in 2010 at the Grange de Bourgoult in Normandy, France. This still remains to be one of my favorites. Just before the ceremony, the kids were supposed to be waiting out of sight. However, kids being kids couldn’t stay put and just had to take a look at the guests being seated. I was in place ready for the bride’s entrance (read this article for tips on how to make a great wedding procession). As I turned to sneak a quick shot, their reaction was priceless!

My biggest award winning wedding photography achievements with the ISPWP was in 2016. I had already been listed in 2013 and 2015 as the ‘ISPWP Top 100 Wedding Photographers in the World‘… WOW, I know! However in 2016, I was honored again (see me listed here) and placed in the top 20 photographers of the fall contest! Since then I’ve taken a step back from photography contests. Maybe I’ll be back again soon…
