After the ceremony as they exited the church.
I’ve photographed weddings at this church before and I remembered how difficult the church exit can be here. The church has little space in front before the road and a line of trees which means that you are cramped in with the guests and can’t get back enough for a decent shot.
It also has two main exit doors with a pillar between the two. Therefore you can’t photograph within the church looking out, nor do you know which door the bride and groom might take. In the past, I’ve seen the bride take one exit while the groom took the other, and I wasn’t able to photograph the couple together.
Anyway, I know this church exit as being particularly difficult to photograph. And this is once to the nicest church exit photos I took in 2017. I’m happy!
